Journal Eligibility & Accepted Types

SEIPID accepts journals that demonstrate genuine scholarly purpose, active publishing operations, editorial accountability, and measurable research output. The journal must function as a legitimate academic publishing entity, serving researchers, scholars, and professional communities with original, peer-reviewed research content.

Journals that fail to meet minimum publishing activity, transparency requirements, or research credibility standards may be deferred, restricted, or excluded.

Accepted Journal Access Models

SEIPID supports multiple publishing access models, provided that evaluation and article audit access can be ensured

  • Open Access Journals: Journals where full research content is publicly accessible without subscription barriers.
  • Closed / Subscription-Based Journals: Subscription or restricted-access journals may apply only if they grant XRC controlled editorial or reviewer-level access to allow random article audits, metadata verification, and quality compliance checks.

    • This ensures independent evaluation of research integrity, peer review standards, and metadata accuracy.

Accepted Subject Scope

SEIPID accepts all scholarly disciplines and research subject areas, including interdisciplinary and applied research fields journals.

Language & Regional Inclusivity

Journals published in any language may apply, provided that essential metadata (titles, abstracts, keywords) is available in an internationally readable format where required.

Language Policy:

  • Any publication language is acceptable
  • Multilingual journals are supported
  • Non-English journals must provide structured metadata for discoverability

Minimum Journal Activity & Publishing Requirements

The journal must demonstrate consistent scholarly publishing activity.

  • The journal must be actively publishing scholarly research
  • Must publish at least five (5) research articles per year
  • Must target researchers, scholars, or professional practitioners
  • Must maintain clear editorial and peer review operations and content must reflect original research or scholarly analysis

SEIPID assignment may be paused, limited, or revoked if repeated non-compliance is observed.

Newly Launched Journals

Newly launched journals may be accepted into SEIPID under Alif Pre-Index status, provided they successfully meet the minimum evaluation criteria defined in the SEIPID Journal Evaluation Framework. If a new journal fulfills the baseline technical, editorial, ethical, identity, and publishing standards, it may be classified as an Alif Pre-Index Journal.

Alif Pre-Index Journals are NOT indexed journals. This status only confirms that the journal:

  • Meets minimum SEIPID evaluation standards
  • Operates as a legitimate and active scholarly journal
  • Is authorized to generate SEIPID identifiers by submitting article metadata
  • Alif Pre-Index represents the minimum-compliance entry stage into the SEIPID ecosystem — not indexing. Newly journals are NOT eligible for Alif Index Levels (L1, L2, L3)

SEIPID assignment may be paused, limited, or revoked if repeated non-compliance is observed.

How to Upgrade Your Account

To upgrade from Basic User to another type:

  1. Go to your Account Settings
  2. Select "Upgrade Account"
  3. Choose desired user type
  4. Submit required documentation
  5. Wait for approval (1-3 business days)

Content Creation Guidelines

To maintain a high-quality platform, all content must adhere to these guidelines:

Allowed Content

  • Original content you created or have rights to share
  • Educational and informative material
  • Creative works (art, writing, music with proper credits)
  • Professional discussions and industry insights
  • Constructive feedback and reviews
  • Properly attributed quotes and references

Prohibited Content

  • Hate speech, harassment, or discrimination
  • Spam, scams, or deceptive practices
  • Illegal content or activities
  • Copyright infringement
  • Malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Explicit adult content without proper warnings

Quality Standards

Clarity & Accuracy

Ensure content is clear, accurate, and properly formatted.

Proper Tagging

Use relevant tags and categories for better discoverability.

Media Guidelines

Images must be clear, relevant, and under 5MB. Videos under 500MB.

You retain copyright to your original content. By posting, you grant us a license to display and distribute it on our platform. Always credit original creators when sharing others' work.
