Flexible Plans for Different Scholarly Needs

SEIPID offers structured annual plans for journals, repositories, archives, publishers, and other eligible scholarly entities. Each plan defines the number of namespaces (journals, repositories, archives, publishing press, etc.) you may register under your account, the minimum SEIPID order size, the maximum annual SEIPID usage limit, and the level of assistant access included.

SEIPID plans are account-based rather than namespace-based. This means the total annual SEIPID capacity available under a plan may be used across any approved namespaces registered within that account, while each issued SEIPID still remains tied to its specific namespace string. Where additional capacity is needed, users may extend usage through available add-ons or move to a higher plan.

SEIPID Trial

A temporary trial is automatically activated after registration approval. It allows one namespace (journals, repositories, archives, publishing press, etc.) registration, free SEIPIDs, and remains valid for a limited period before an upgrade to a paid plan is required.

During this period, a user may register one namespace and use the free SEIPIDs included under the plan. No add-ons, extra namespaces, or additional SEIPID purchases are allowed. This access is provided only to help users test and become familiar with the system before subscribing to a regular SEIPID plan. After expiry, the user may no longer use SEIPIDs or add anything further under onboarding access.
